The fifth National E-course on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) and Gender-Based Violence (GBV) has been completed!
E-courses are implemented with the aim to keep advocating and creating awareness on vital issues despite the obstacle of distance. Like the previous four, the fifth National E-course was a great success as well.
We had around 45 participants from 15 different networks. The E-course was exclusively for Bhutanese Y-PEER members. The topics covered are:
1. Introduction to Y-PEER
2. Volunteerism
3. Healthy Relationships
4. Young Key Population
5. Sex and Gender
6. Comprehensive Sexuality Education
7. Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights
8. Gender-Based Violence
9. Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse
The study materials were uploaded using GoogleClassroom, along with quizzes and assignments to complete throughout the day. And a bonding session was initiated through Zoom every evening whereby doubts were cleared and fun activities were conducted. Jamboard was also used to carry out Secret Buddy sessions.
The program could not have been successful without the support of Department of Youth and Sports and YPEER Asia Pacific Center -Ypeer AP. We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to them.
