Y-PEER Bhutan, Mongolia, and Papua New Guinea (PNG) successfully conducted their respective National APFSD Youth Forums, bringing together youth advocates to discuss and align their priorities with the key Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for the Asia-Pacific Forum on Sustainable Development (APFSD). Through meaningful dialogue and collaboration, young leaders from diverse backgrounds identified pressing issues and proposed actionable solutions to drive sustainable development in their countries.
This Call to Action represents the collective voice of youth advocates from Bhutan, Mongolia, and PNG, emphasizing their commitment to advancing key SDGs. Across the three countries, over 100 youth advocates from various networks engaged in discussions on health, gender equality, economic opportunities, environmental sustainability, and the importance of partnerships. Their insights and recommendations culminated in a unified declaration, reinforcing the vital role of youth in shaping a more sustainable and inclusive future.
