National Youth Alliance on SDGs
Mongolia
01
Call to Application
An open call invites youth from various backgrounds and youth networks to register, fostering diverse participants.
02
National APFSD Youth Forum
Selected participants gather to discuss the theme-focused SDGs and collaboratively develop the initial draft of Mongolia’s National Call to Action. This phase includes identifying key challenges, brainstorming innovative solutions, and outlining priorities for sustainable development.
03
Survey and Feedback on the Call to Action
To refine the draft, a survey is conducted to gather additional input from participants and stakeholders, ensuring the Call to Action reflects broader perspectives and aligns with national priorities.
04
Final Call to Action
The feedback is incorporated into the final version, which is then presented at the APFSD Regional Youth Forum. This final Call to Action becomes part of a larger regional initiative, combining voices across Asia-Pacific to be shared at the APFSD main event.

Messages from the Co-convenors

“The Asian-Pacific Resource and Research Centre for Women (ARROW) together with YPEER Asia Pacific Centre, YouthLead, and other regional organisations has been organizing the APFSD Youth Forum since 2017. We are happy to note over time country level Youth-led and Youth-serving SDG alliances have emerged in Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Mongolia, and Papua New Guinea (PNG).
We congratulate you all on their leadership to take forward the Agenda 2030 on Sustainable Development forward and form country level APFSD alliances.
The meaningful inclusion of young people in Sustainable Development is very critical, given the significant number of young people in all their diversity residing in the Asia and the Pacific region.
You are all the agents of change and in our role, we will do all that we can to ensure young people are at the forefront.”
