Background:
Y-PEER Asia Pacific Center (YPEER AP) is an organisation based in Bangkok supporting youth networks, organisations and activists to promote Young People’s SRHR ( Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights) through Peer Education and other innovative approaches. Y-PEER Asia Pacific Center also works with more than 15 Y-PEER Asia Pacific Networks that have been working in the region for more than 12 years.
Y-PEER Asia Pacific International Internship Program was launched in 2017 with the objective to involve young people at the grassroots level – to work more closely with Y-PEER Asia Pacific National Networks and other young people and organizations across the region. The internship program aims to increase young people’s knowledge and understanding of SRHR and youth empowerment. This year, Y-PEER AP is looking to select 4-5 young people from across the region to be part of the internship program.
Location: Online Based in Own Country (with exceptional of working in Y-PEER National offices in few countries)
Position : International Asia Pacific Internship Program
Eligible : Countries from Asia Pacific Region
Eligible Age: 18- 26
( Young People below 18 and above 26 will be accepted under specific criteria)
Main Tasks:
- To Initiate and involve in regional campaigns related to SRHR and Young People
- To provide support to youth activists and youth organisations on their campaigns
- To support Y-PEER Asia Pacific Center on social media and websites
- To support ICPD30 Youth Groups.
- Coordinate on International Days related to SRHR and Youths
Skills Required:
- Basic knowledge of Google Drive, newsletter design and other designing skills.
- Basic Knowledge of SRHR ( Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights) is of additional value.
- Ability to work in a team
