The Y-PEER Asia Pacific Internship Program stands as the flagship initiative launched in 2018, designed to provide young individuals with opportunities for personal and professional growth. The program has been tailored to empower participants with hands-on experience and invaluable insights into the field of sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), this program offers a transformative journey of learning and development.
Through immersive experiences and mentorship from the International Core Members, interns not only contribute meaningfully to ongoing projects and initiatives but also gain practical skills, insights, and perspectives essential for their personal and professional development. From honing communication and leadership skills to deepening their understanding of SRHR issues and effective advocacy strategies, participants emerge from the program equipped with the tools and confidence to drive positive change in their communities and beyond. Y-PEER AP has had 7 batches of dynamic interns from different parts of Asia and the Pacific.
