Innovative Grant 7.0: Call for Proposals
Y-PEER Asia Pacific Centre (YPEER AP) is excited to announce the launch of Innovative Grant 7.0, dedicated to celebrating the 30th anniversary of the International Conference on Population and Development (ICPD30). This grant aims to support youth-driven initiatives that promote Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) in the Asia-Pacific region through innovative approaches.
Objectives of the Innovative Grant 7.0
This call for proposals seeks to bring forth innovative ideas that advance the ICPD30 and Youth agenda, encouraging youth involvement in the ICPD30 and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) processes.
What We Support
We are looking for innovative ideas that directly reflect the linkages between SRHR and young people, including but not limited to:
- Capacity Development
- Policy Advocacy
- Research
- Evidence Generation
- Online/Digital Campaigns, Technology, and Awareness Platforms
- ICPD Agenda
What We Don’t Support
- Core costs such as rent and salary
- Printing of IEC materials without a clear purpose and follow-up
- Purchase of infrastructure like printers or laptops
- Organizational development activities
Eligibility
Proposals can be submitted by:
- Organisations that participated in ICPD30 Asia Pacific Regional Youth Group
- Organisations that participated in APPC Regional Youth Forum
- Organisations that participated in ICPD30 GYD from the Asia-Pacific region
Eligible countries include Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Burma, Cambodia, China, Cook Islands, India, Indonesia, Kiribati, Laos, Malaysia, Maldives, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Mongolia, Nauru, Nepal, Niue, Pakistan, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Samoa, Singapore, Solomon Islands, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Tonga, Tuvalu, Vanuatu, and Vietnam.
Grant Amount
The maximum grant amount is $2200 USD. There is no minimum amount, and the final amount will be determined by the selection team based on the quality and needs of the application.
Number of Awards
A maximum of 6 applications will be selected for the grant.

Application Evaluation
The selection team will evaluate applications based on key areas, population, methodology, and expected outcomes. External stakeholders may be invited if required. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. The selected applications will be announced on 12th August, 2024
Timeline
- Call for application: Open on 22 June 2024
- Submission of questions regarding the application: 22 – 30 June 2024
- Close of questions regarding the application : 30 June 2024
- Submission of application form : 1 July – 7 July 2024 (3pm Bangkok Time)
- Selection process and interview with shortlisted Applicants: 07- 30 July 2024
- Public announcement of the selected initiative: 12 August 2024 (International Youth Day)
- Implementation and reporting period: 15 August 2024 – 05 December 2024
