I. Background:
Y-PEER Asia Pacific Center (AP Center) is regional office of Y-PEER International Network based in Thailand and had been working on the issues of SRHR , HIV and other youth issues across more than 15 countries in the region. Since the establishment of Y-PEER in 2009 in Asia Pacific Region and mainly after establishing the AP Center in 2016, it had been partnering together with different UN and Civil society organisations to address SRHR needs of Young people at the international, regional and country-level, pertaining to capacity development, policy influence, service delivery, community mobilisation, and evidence generation.
One of the highlights of this collaboration was to promote innovative ideas and initiatives from various youth and YKP-led organizations in the region which also includes not registered organisations who are usually not provided opportunity to apply grants. With an intention to promote youth innovation in the issues of SRHR and youth issues, the innovative grant on SRHR 1.0 was launched in 2018 which awarded 3 national organisations based in Asia Pacific Region and some research focusing on young people.
This 2.0 call for application is part of the continuation to identify new innovations and to turn them into successful practices within the region.
II. Objectives:
The call for proposal is to bring out innovations on SRHR , HIV and Humanitarian initiatives targeted towards YKPs or other young people. This also includes the innovations which address the COVID19 linking the issues of young people.
III. What do we support?
The best innovative ideas that directly reflect the linkages between SRHR and Young people including, but not limited to:
- Capacity development
- Policy advocacy
- Research
- Evidence generation
- Online/digital campaigns, techlonogy and awareness platform
- Solutions to effective service delivery
- Youth friendly SRHR services and information
- Activities linking Youth SRHR & Humanitarian (including COVID19 )
What we don’t support:
- Core cost e.g. rent and salary etc.
- Printing of IEC Materials without any purpose and follow up
- Purchasing of infrastructures
- Organisational development
- Cost for food and rescue

IV. Who can submit the proposal?
- YKP-led national networks, ngos, clubs and groups
- Youth SRHR national networks, ngos, clubs and groups
- Students and individuals up to age 29 passionate on SRHR, HIV and Humanitarian issues
Within the countries mentioned below:
Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Burma, Cambodia, China, Cook Islands, India, Indonesia, Kiribati , Laos, Malaysia, Maldives, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Mongolia, Nauru, Nepal, Niue, Pakistan , Palau, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Samoa, Singapore, Solomon Islands, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Tonga, Tuvalu, Vanuatu, Vietnam
V. Amount:
The minimum amount of request for organisations is 2500 USD while the maximum is 5000 USD. The final amount will be decided by selection team based on the quality and need of the application.
Individuals can apply from 300 USD up to 5000 USD .
VI. Number of rewards:
Maximum of 5 Applications will be selected for the grant.

IX. Application Evaluation:
Selection team will evaluate the application and, if required, external stakeholders will be invited. The innovations within the key areas, population, methodology, and outcome will be one of the key areas during evaluation of the application. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
