Open Call for Intergenerational Dialogue on meaningful youth engagement and Pre Youth Consultation
Asian Population and Development Association (APDA), UNFPA Asia and the Pacific Regional Office (APRO) and Y-PEER Asia-Pacific Center will be organizing a virtual Intergenerational Dialogue on meaningful youth engagement among parliamentarians, youth advocates and representatives from civil society organizations.
Intergenerational Dialogue will take place virtually on 8th July, 2021 from 1 to 3pm (Bangkok time) . Ahead of the plenary intergenerational dialogue, a virtual preparatory session for youth advocates will be organized on 5th July, 2021 from 4 to 6pm (Bangkok time).
Young people aged 18-29 years in the Asia and Pacific Region are eligible to participate by filling the form : (click here) or scan the QR from the poster
The main objectives of this intergenerational dialogue are to:
(1) Share a common understanding of meaningful youth engagement;
(2) Share good examples of meaningful youth engagement;
(3) To identify gaps in youth engagement and discuss ideas to address these gaps;
(4) To connect parliamentarians, youth advocates and CSO representatives in respective countries for further discussion and collaboration.
