The National SDG Youth Alliance was officially launched during Bhutan’s SDG Partnership Week 2024. During the event, Dechen Wangchuk, a youth delegate to the Asia-Pacific Regional Youth Forum on Sustainable Development (APFSD Youth Forum) delivered a presentation outlining the alliance’s overview, working modality, partners, and way forward.
Sincere gratitude goes to Ms. Karla Robin Hershey, United Nations Resident Coordinator of Bhutan; Ms. Yeshey Lham, Chief Programme Officer, Programme and Youth Coordination Division, Department of Education Programmes under the Ministry of Education and Skills Development; and Ms. Prim, a youth representative to the Asia-Pacific Youth Forum on Sustainable Development, for their invaluable support to this initiative.
The National SDG Youth Alliance is launched with the support from The Asian-Pacific Resource & Research Centre for Women (ARROW) , YPEER Asia Pacific Center -Ypeer AP, Programme and Youth Coordination Division, Department of Education Programmes, MoESD and YPEER Bhutan .
