He “played a key role and was part of the organizer team of Amsterdam Youth Force (AIDS 2018) & the International Conference on Family Planning (Youth ICFP 2018), the steering committee of 9 & 10 APCRSHR Conference, and lead SRHR+Youth in Humanitarian Settings.”
“For last 13 years, I had been working in various level and roles to work directly in the issues of Family Planning Starting as a ‘adolescent peer educator’ in 2006, I increased my information and going through journey I had worked directly with young people from more than 30 countries.
The work which I did had various impact in terms of providing information and training as well as linking and advocating the SRH services. It also includes various research and manuals which had been creating impact.
My current work since last 4 years had directly contributed to create a sustainable network of peer educators in many countries which includes Nepal, Bhutan, Laos, Vietnam and many others. Each network consists of minimum 50 to more than 5000 members in each country who continue to spread the information in grassroots level working closely with school, local government and other civil society organisations.
One of the recent research which I am involved in Nepal named as “Nepal Youth Health Risk Behavior Study 2018” had brought new facts such as linkages of FP information and services.”
