Y-PEER Asia-Pacific International Internship Program 8.0 (Year 2025)

Y-PEER Asia Pacific Center (YPEER AP) is a youth-led organization based in Bangkok, dedicated to empowering young people by promoting Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) through Peer Education and innovative, youth-centred approaches. With a strong network of over 15 national Y-PEER groups, the center has actively supported youth movements across the Asia-Pacific region.

The Y-PEER Asia Pacific International Internship Program was launched in 2018 to meaningfully engage grassroots youth leaders and build stronger connections among national networks, young activists, and partner organizations across the region. The program aims to strengthen young people’s knowledge of SRHR, enhance their leadership skills, and provide a platform for collaboration and regional impact.

For 2025, Y-PEER AP will select 2 passionate young individuals from across Asia-Pacific to join our journey.

Eligible Age: 18 – 26 years old
Countries: Countries in the Asia and Pacific region
Commitment: 7–8 hours/week
Duration: 7 months (Starting May 2025- December 2025)
Modality: Online (with potential support from Y-PEER national teams)

Main Tasks:

• Assisting in the planning and execution of regional campaigns focused on SRHR and youth rights

• Supporting youth-led initiatives and organizations across the region in their advocacy and awareness efforts

• Contributing to content creation for Y-PEER Asia Pacific’s social media platforms, newsletters, and website

• Assisting with communications and coordination for Y-PEER Asia Pacific

• Creating and curating content for International Days related to SRHR, youth, and global development theme

Skills & Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of graphic designing tools (e.g., Canva)
• Familiarity with social media management, content scheduling, and engagement strategies
• Comfortable using Google Workspace (Docs, Drive, Sheets, etc.)
• Some understanding of SRHR and youth issues (preferred)
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, youth-led environment
